What happens

George Valentine is hired by Barbara Eversole, a woman who stands to lose custody of her twelve-year-old daughter Penny on Friday. Barbara claims she was framed on a drunk driving charge involving a man named Dan Edwards, but Edwards tells a different story to the courts. George must uncover the truth about that night at Club 44 before the custody hearing, while navigating the interference of Jerry's overbearing mother and brother who want to take Penny away from Barbara.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
