What happens

George Valentine is called to Istanbul by the Europa Insurance Company to investigate the theft of valuable Romani diamonds from a diamond dealer named Ari Tu. The stones, worth $250,000 and held on consignment from a family named Eglescue, vanished from Tu's hotel room nearly a week ago. George must go undercover as a flashy American businessman to catch the thief before Tu's deadline to return the diamonds or pay the money.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
