What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for Corinthian Liability and Risk, travels to Hong Kong to look into a claimed fire at the South China branch of the Trans-Pacific Import-Export Company. Refugees crowd the city and tension is high, and Dollar notices he is being followed. He interviews employees, gathers statements and fire evidence, and meets a young woman who has her own reasons for wanting to leave China. Dollar's investigation draws him into danger as he works to prove the claim is fraudulent. The episode is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar radio series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on August 24, 1950, with Bob Bailey among the lead actors.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
