What happens
Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is hired to look into a case involving Skimpy Dingle, a recently paroled criminal who once threatened former city attorney Amos Crutchfield in court. When Johnny visits Crutchfield's home in Lakewood, he finds the elderly man shot and unconscious. A mysterious visitor then appears at Johnny's apartment claiming to be Percy Dingo, Skimpy's older brother and a psychologist, requesting Johnny's sympathy and understanding.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
