What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for the Star Mutual company, travels to a poultry farming area in southern New Jersey after Ben Pringle reports that his chickens are dying. Pringle, who recently bought a farm and lost most of his flock, suspects a neighbor is behind the trouble. Dollar speaks with the neighbors, Joe Rinsley and Jordan Sealy's wife, and examines the feed and Pringle's property. The story is part of the CBS Radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, first broadcast on February 9, 1958, starring Bob Bailey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
