What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives in Vicksburg after a mysterious blonde woman died in his arms the previous night at the Plantation Hotel. Police lieutenant Higgins questions Dollar about the unidentified girl, whom he'd helped after she collapsed in the parking lot during an argument with an unknown man. The investigation reveals the girl was poisoned with Perimithole, a rare drug found in her stomach, suggesting possible suicide in front of her troubled boyfriend.
