What happens
Johnny Dollar, a freelance insurance investigator, pursues Tom Chase, a man who embezzled $120,000 from his New York investment firm. After a tip-off in New Orleans ends in a death, Dollar follows Chase to Barbados and then to Lagos Island, where Chase's wife Lola joins him. Chase escapes by boat, leaving them stranded. Rescued by Inspector Whitsett, Dollar learns George Everson, a senior partner of the firm, is in Barbados urging a return to New York. Dollar and the police search the city for Chase, who keeps slipping away, until a confrontation in Dollar's hotel room. This is the eighth of nine episodes in the series, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on October 25, 1956, starring Bob Bailey.
