What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is hired to look into a suspicious $200,000 life insurance policy application by Nora Faulkner, who plans to pay only six months of premiums upfront. His investigation leads him through Los Angeles, where he discovers Nora is estranged from her husband Andrew, influenced by a mysterious psychic named Madam Starr, and currently hiding out in Las Vegas.
