What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is sent to Santa Monica to investigate a jewel robbery at the home of movie star Nancy Shaw. After learning from police that this is the latest in a series of similar robberies targeting Malibu homes, Johnny travels to Shaw's beachfront property to begin his inquiry. He finds himself drawn to the charming actress even as he works the case.
