What happens

Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for the Assured Equity and Trust Company, is hired after a valuable Lincoln manuscript, the Gettysburg Address draft insured for $100,000, vanishes from the Meek Memorial museum in New Bedford. He interviews Mariah Meek, a blind collector, her grandson Paul and his wife Janice, the museum guard Pete Vasubio, and art dealer Jason Penrod. Each has a motive or a secret, and Dollar begins to piece together the inconsistencies. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
