What happens

Johnny Dollar investigates the death of Maynard Collins, found dead after his car went over a canyon road near Colorado Springs. Dollar, representing the insurance company, works alongside Lieutenant Andrews as they question Collins' wife, her sister, her son Ralph, and their neighbor Doug Pinkett. The witnesses describe their Thursday evenings, the timing of the crash, and the strained family relations. Dollar and Andrews check alibis and the sequence of events, and they begin to examine the details of the evening. This episode is the first part of the story, from the 1951 CBS Radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, starring Bob Bailey, Edmond O'Brien, John Lund and Charles Russell.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
