What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives on a tropical island off Cuba to look into King Rawlings' claim that someone attempted to steal his quarter-million-dollar necklace. Rawlings suspects his secretary Harley or his protege, but Dollar discovers the necklace in the safe has been replaced with paste, suggesting a switch may have occurred.

A private island called Las Parnas off the coast of Cuba, where retired financier King Rawlings lives in an imported Moorish castle surrounded by staff and guests.
