What happens
Johnny Dollar investigates a life insurance policy on Isaac Prelinger, a small-time con man in Corpus Christi, after the beneficiary turns out to be Lou Livercomb, a crook Dollar once chased across the country. Prelinger's shack burns down and his body is identified, and the arson squad calls it an accident. Dollar grows suspicious of the fire and of the identification, and he travels to Eugene, Oregon, to confront Livercomb. This is the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on March 18, 1962, with Bob Bailey in the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
