What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is called to investigate Harvey Crutton, a senior partner in an importing business who has just died in a car accident on a dangerous mountain road. Crutton was heavily insured for $250,000 with double indemnity, and his wife is the beneficiary. But Johnny's client suspects foul play, noting that both of Crutton's business partners—Wilbur Carding and Earl Kellinger—had recently threatened to kill him, and both stand to gain from his death through a partnership agreement.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
