Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is sent to San Pedro, California to investigate a $400,000 claim for two fishing boats, the Frank Walton and Nancy Walton, which allegedly sank in calm weather with the loss of two crew members. When Johnny discovers evidence of violent explosions that may indicate insurance fraud through scuttling, he begins tracking down Captain George Carpo, the fleet manager, and learns of suspicious activity involving money and a mysterious woman named Anita Vargas.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
