What happens
Johnny Dollar, a freelance insurance investigator, is asked to dinner by Ray Connolly, an executive at Continental Insurance. Over a steak dinner Connolly suddenly falls gravely ill, and despite a doctor's efforts he dies. Dollar grows suspicious of the delivered groceries and begins tracing the steak back to the market that supplied it. The episode is part of the long-running radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, first broadcast on CBS Radio on May 10, 1959. Bob Bailey stars as Dollar, with Edmond O'Brien, John Lund and Charles Russell among the leads.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
