What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar travels to Bermuda after a witness claims to have spotted Earl Chadwick, a man declared dead four years earlier who disappeared with $30,000 from his employer. Chadwick's widow collected an $80,000 life insurance claim, but Dollar suspects the man may still be alive under an assumed name. Dollar tracks down a man calling himself George Brewster and confronts him at a nightclub to determine if he is truly the missing Chadwick.

Bermuda, primarily Hamilton and the Port of Castile nightclub, with opening scenes in Hartford, Connecticut

Listen for: The classic hard-boiled insurance investigator at work, confronting a suspicious character in a tropical setting; Johnny Dollar's methodical approach to verifying identity through physical evidence and direct questioning.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
