What happens

Johnny Dollar, a freelance insurance investigator, is hired to look into an insurance fraud case involving two suspects. When one of his operatives, Douglas Taylor, is found dead near the freight yards, Lieutenant Reese pressures Dollar for information. Dollar refuses to reveal details of his case, fearing it will compromise a potentially half-million-dollar investigation into suspected arson.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
