What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives at Crystal Lake to investigate the disappearance of Edward Russell, a man with a $50,000 policy. Russell's body is discovered in a cabin owned by Clarence Bixby, dead for several days. As Johnny questions witnesses, he uncovers conflicting stories and discovers that Russell had been searching for someone named Bill and had a fight with the bartender before his death.
