The episode is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on April 19, 1959, with Bob Bailey in the title role, and this installment follows Johnny's cross-country escape as Durango pursues him from Hartford to Los Angeles, Portland and eventually Oklahoma.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
