What happens

Johnny Dollar, a freelance insurance investigator, travels to Corpus Christi, Texas, to look into the theft of the Canary Diamonds, a set of yellow diamonds stolen from the safe of Mrs. Clara Tyson Brownfield. Her husband Gus Brownfield runs a small cannery, and Johnny's employer Jack Price suspects him. Johnny visits the Brownfield home and questions the couple about the night of the robbery. Johnny's friend Doug Johnstone then reports that a cannery worker, a former safecracker, may be connected to the theft. Johnny follows the trail toward a shipment of canned goods sent overseas. The episode is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar series, originally broadcast on CBS Radio in 1960, starring Bob Bailey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
