What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is sent to Detroit to look into the disappearance of Richard Brisbane, a missing businessman whose firm is bonded by Dollar's company. Brisbane vanished Tuesday morning without telling his wife where he was going, and hasn't been seen since, leaving behind all his belongings and following none of his usual habits.

Detroit, Michigan; the Brisbane home and office

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Sergeant Fantellar, Mrs. Brisbane, Richard Brisbane, Dr. Wiena

Listen for: Johnny Dollar's expense account narration and his questioning of Mrs. Brisbane about her husband's disappearance; details about Brisbane's habits and lifestyle that might explain his sudden absence.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
