What happens

Johnny Dollar investigates a theft of furs and jewels worth $100,000 stolen from the penthouse of Baroness Olga Jarbach. The robbery appears to be an inside job, with suspicion falling on Vasiliy Oodyskoo, a guest at the Baroness's party the night before who has a criminal record. As Dollar questions the people connected to the case, including the Baroness's ex-husband Thomas Bentley, evidence begins to surface that may point to the real culprit.

New York City, including the Baroness's penthouse apartment, a commercial art studio, and police headquarters.

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Baroness Olga Jarbach, Lieutenant Lewis, Thomas Bentley, Vasiliy Oodyskoo

Listen for: The clever way the detective pieces together clues from an apparent inside job, and the revelation of who actually took the stolen jewels and furs.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
