What happens

Jerry and his friend Tom spend a day at the circus grounds with the horse Splendor. Jerry has received a letter from his Uncle Dan, who is recovering in hospital and has been promised a circus job. Tom asks to ride Splendor, and after a careful test in the saddle he proves a capable rider, and Jerry notes his size and strength as a potential jockey. Tom mentions that his father may be at the fairgrounds with a horse entered in a big race, and that some people have been mocking him. The boys are then called away, as Doctor Williams fears that measles is spreading through the circus.

A circus grounds, the horse tent and the back paddock, with a hospital nearby where the circus performers are examined.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
