What happens

Colonel Alger, an elderly circus man, is confined to his wagon with the measles, and he refuses to go to the hospital. Jerry and Tom, young members of the circus, visit to keep him company, and he tells them stories of the old circus days, including the rogue Old Tom and the honest Sterling Brothers, whom he worked for. Later, Tom brings the Colonel a meal. Mr. Randall, the circus manager, arrives to check on the patient and urges him again to go to the hospital, while the Colonel insists on staying where he is.

A circus winter quarters wagon, where Colonel Alger is recovering from the measles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
