What happens

Jerry and his dog Rags are at a circus wagon when Colonel Charlie Alger, the advance man for the circus, arrives. Tom, who is looking for his father, asks Charlie whether he has seen a man named Jack Rogers at the Fordham fairgrounds, where Charlie has been arranging a publicity stunt. Charlie describes a tall, thin man with a mustache who has bought an old horse for a race. Charlie grows feverish and flushed, and the circus doctor, Doc Williams, arrives. He examines Charlie and tells him he has the measles, then orders him quarantined in the wagon and sends for a nurse.

A circus lot, where Jerry and his friends are gathered by a wagon while the show is in town, and later the wagon where Charlie is quarantined.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
