What happens
Jerry and Slats, two boys from the circus, search for an old vest that Jerry needs for his act. After Jerry stops a runaway horse named Nelly, the boy who tends her, Tom, takes him to his employer's farm to look through an old trunk in the barn. Their search is interrupted when the owner, a sharp-tempered man, returns home unexpectedly and catches them inside the trunk.
A small town on the edge of town, near the railroad tracks and a station, where the circus has come to town.
