What happens
Jerry and Mr. Randall, the proprietor of the Randall Brothers Circus, face trouble as a high wind rises during the afternoon show. Patsy, a trapeze artist, attempts a new and dangerous aerial trick despite the weather and falls twice, while Mr. Randall weighs whether the public's expectations should outweigh the safety of his performers. Meanwhile, an aging clown named Johnny Bradley faces a personal crisis when his son, a lawyer, is spotted in the audience. The episode is part of the Jerry of the Circus radio series and was first broadcast on August 11, 1937, though the lead actors are not named in the transcript. The transcript ends with Jerry missing and the circus searching for him just before a performance is due to begin.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
