What happens

Jerry, a young performer with the circus, works with the trained seals and helps rehearse Rags the dog and Patsy's act. At dinner, Jerry reads a letter from the Brunner Lock Company listing banks that once used the lock pattern on a key he has. Jackson City is among them, and Jerry hopes to find the bank where his father's safety deposit box is kept. Bradley, Johnny and Bumps listen and encourage him, and Jerry expresses his anxiety to learn what his father locked away. The episode's first part sets up Jerry's search for the bank.

A circus winter quarters and its tent, with the seal tank and the performers' wagons, and dinner in camp before a town stop in Jackson City.

Characters: Jerry, Bradley, Johnny, Bumps, Patsy, Reg, Marcus

Listen for: Jerry's reading of the Brunner Lock Company letter and his plan to check the Jackson City bank for his father's safety deposit box.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
