What happens
Jerry and his friend Jason, who works with the circus animals, try training a young cub named Fuzzy, but the cub's rough play with the older dog Rags leaves Rags with a badly clawed leg. Jason splints the leg and treats the wound while Jerry worries about his dog. Later, a letter from the bank brings news about a lock connected to a missing box, which Jerry and Pat hope will help them find it. In the evening Rags insists on joining the act despite his injury, and the performance goes on with Bump, but a fall on stage leaves Rags limp for a moment before he gets up. Jerry takes him to the wagon to check the leg, and Bump says the dog will not work again until it has healed. This is an episode of the Jerry of the Circus radio series, first broadcast on July 30, 1937.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
