What happens
Jerry Dugan, a young worker at a traveling circus, is called in by circus owner Mr. Randall after he substitutes for the ailing clown Johnny Bradley. Randall tells Jerry that no changes may be made without his approval, then names him an understudy for the clowns. Randall also learns that Johnny Bradley is unwell and sends him to speak with the older performer. Johnny explains that he has been sending most of his salary to his son, a young lawyer, and asks to keep working. Randall agrees on condition that Johnny stop performing whenever he feels ill. Later, a new lion cub arrives at the circus and Jerry names it Fuzzy. Jerry also receives letters from his Uncle Dan at Lakeside Hospital and from a bank about a safety deposit box.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
