What happens
Jerry and Bob talk about Johnny Bradley, a circus performer whose heart is failing, and then about Rags, the dog who has become a popular act with the show. Jerry finds a small key on his father's key ring, a key marked with a number that may belong to a safety deposit box. Bob suggests that a bank in town might be able to help identify where the box is held. Jerry plans to ask about it the next day, and Patsy and Bob agree to help him. Later, the circus flag goes up to signal mealtime, and the group heads to the mess tent, where they discuss how the circus feeds its large crew and animals.
A circus in the 1930s, including the backyard where Jerry bathes Rags, the wagons, and the mess tent.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
