What happens

Jerry of the Circus follows Jerry, a young boy who has joined the circus and become friends with the Ben-Dini brothers, Carlos and Alfredo, a wire-walking family of performers. During a performance, Jerry returns a loose duck belonging to Johnny Bradley, a quiet older man, and notices that Mr. Bradley seems unwell. He insists he is fine and asks that nothing be said. Jerry and his friend Bumps begin to worry about him and decide to keep an eye on him. The episode is from the 1937 run of this series, first aired on July 23, 1937.

Listen for: Mr. Bradley's illness and his request that no one be told about it, and Jerry and Bumps deciding to watch over him.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
