What happens

Jerry and Jason, members of a traveling circus, talk over their worries about Decker, whom they now suspect of having stolen money. Their conversation is interrupted by an elephant incident during the loading of the train, and afterward Jason tells Jerry about the elephant Gertie's past. Later, over pie and ice cream at the station restaurant, they read a newspaper report about an unidentified bearded man found injured beside the railroad tracks, and Jason fears he may be Decker. The episode is part of the Jerry of the Circus series, which first aired on July 12, 1937.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
