What happens
Jack Benny and his cast trade jokes on the Jell-O program after Benny's dramatic turn as Quasimodo, the hunchback of Notre Dame, the previous Sunday. Benny produces a newspaper column by Ed Sullivan praising his performance and passes out copies, while Phil Harris, Mary Livingstone, and Dennis Day tease him. Mary returns from illness and talks about her doctor, and Phil and Mary sing a duet. The show features a sketch by Don Wilson about a newlywed couple, and the announcer previews the next week's broadcast of Walt Disney's Pinocchio. Rochester and Benny also argue over a lost ten dollars for stamps.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
