What happens

Jack Benny hosts his Jell-O program with Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Kenny Baker and Don Wilson. Jack is caught on the telephone with a woman named Barbara, and he claims he was speaking to a tailor named Honey Boy Ginsburg in Santa Barbara, which the others doubt. Kenny tries to sell raffle tickets, and the cast then performs a comic parody of a newsreel adventure. Clark Benny, an ace cameraman, is sent with Myrna Livingston and Fathead to rescue her brother from a jungle tribe. The episode is part of the Jack Benny radio series, first aired on November 20, 1938, on NBC and CBS Radio, and stars Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
