What happens
Jack Benny, with Mary Livingstone, Dennis Day and Phil Harris, runs through his usual comic routines on the radio program. Benny is teased about his famous stinginess, and Phil Harris leads the band and sings a tobacco-themed number. Benny then dozes after the family turkey is killed, and in a dream he is put on trial by a court full of turkeys. Fred Allen is called as a witness, and the turkey jury returns a verdict. The episode is a comedy of exaggerated domestic humor and Benny's self-deprecation, with the trial as its central fantasy sequence.
Benny's home and studio on a Sunday evening, with a dream courtroom sequence set in a turkey court.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
