What happens

Jack Benny prepares to attend a school play put on by the Beverly Hills Beavers, a children's club of which he is treasurer. The kids are staging their own version of his radio program, with each child playing a member of his cast. Jack's car has a flat tire, and his friends, including Mary Livingstone, Rochester and Dennis, gather to go to the auditorium. Bob Crosby has been called away for jury duty, which he says will keep him from the show. This recap covers only the early part of the episode. The series aired on NBC and CBS Radio, and the lead actors are Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
