What happens
Jack Benny refuses to reveal his age on the Jell-O program, teasing Don Wilson, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris and Kenny Baker as they guess. The cast swaps birth signs, astrology jokes and birth stories, including Jack's claim to have been born over his father's clothing store. The episode, from the Jack Benny series, aired on February 20, 1938, on NBC and CBS Radio, starring Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris. Later the cast turns to a parody of a Navy submarine drama, with Jack as Butch O'Benny leading a crew that includes Rochester, Mary and Phil. The submarine crew's voyage toward Panama begins, and the transcript breaks off there.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
