What happens
Jack Benny is rehearsing a violin piece called The Bee behind a closed door while his cast waits for him during the Jell-O program. Mary Livingstone and Phil Harris tease him about his jittery mood, and Kenny Baker sings a song for the show. The cast then visits Phil Harris's house to meet his visiting mother and sister, Lucy Bell, who has just arrived in Hollywood from Mobile, Alabama. The Jell-O program, starring Jack Benny with Mary Livingstone and Phil Harris, aired on NBC and CBS Radio on January 24, 1937. The visit turns into a lively evening of jokes, songs and mishaps.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
