What happens

Jack Benny opens this installment of his Jell-O program by bantering with Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Kenny Baker and Don Wilson about losing money at the racetrack. The cast then turns to their parody of Jesse James, in which Jack plays the outlaw and Andy Devine plays his brother Juicy, with Mary as Zerelda. Jesse and Juicy plan a train robbery, and their sketch centres on a holdup on the Bow and Arrow Limited. The original air date was March 5, 1939, and the program was broadcast on NBC and CBS Radio.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
