What happens
Jack Benny, on a radio program from 1947 with Mary Livingstone, Rochester, and Dennis Day, is in his Beverly Hills home one morning when his orange juice disappears. He blames Rochester, then learns that Mary drank it. Jack must still take a physical examination because his sponsor has insured him for a million dollars. On the way to the doctor's office, Jack is delayed by a flat tire. The episode is broadcast on Lucky Strike, and Don Wilson, Phil Harris, and Dennis Day appear among the regular cast.
Jack Benny's home in Beverly Hills, then a doctor's office in Los Angeles
Characters: Jack Benny, Rochester, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Dennis Day, Don Wilson
Listen for: Jack's insurance examination and the orange juice mystery
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
