What happens

Jack Benny lies sick in bed with a severe cold after a rainy episode at Don Wilson's house, where he and his friends arrived unannounced. Mary Livingstone and Rochester tend to him while the household fusses over his cranky mood. Dennis Day visits with a gift of false teeth, and Charlie Bagby arrives with a painting from Frankie Remley. Don Wilson stops by to apologize, but the two quarrel. A doctor comes to examine Jack, and a dream later leaves Jack confused about what really happened.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
