What happens
Jack Benny prepares to go ice skating in Central Park with Mary Livingston, Phil Harris, Rochester and Larry Stevenson while staying at the Sherry Netherland Hotel in New York. Rochester fusses over pressing knickers and a long list of household chores, and Jack bickers with Rochester over his breakfast bill. Mary, recovering from a cold, arrives and the group gathers, with Phil Harris trading jokes about a play he saw and Don Wilson joining them. Their taxi ride gets tangled in talk about Brooklyn and radio comedians, and then the friends reach the lake, where Jack tries to show off on the ice. This is a 1945 episode of The Jack Benny Program on NBC.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
