What happens

Jack Benny broadcasts from Palm Springs, California, where Western Week is underway and the town is busy with a circus and a parade. Jack is joined by Mary Livingstone, Don Wilson, Phil Harris and Dennis Day, who trade jokes about Jack riding a horse backwards, dates sold in town, and misread clippings. Jack's valet Rochester is sent out to look for the scheduled guest, Bob Hope, who is running late. The program is part of the Jack Benny series and was first broadcast on March 26, 1950.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
