What happens
Jack Benny spends an afternoon in Los Angeles, lunching at a drugstore with Dennis Day and Bob Crosby, then running errands. Back at his car he finds a parking ticket he believes is unfair, since he says the meter was fast. He goes to the Beverly Hills police station to contest it, where a judge and a crowded waiting room of unusual characters await him. The episode is from the Jack Benny series, first broadcast on January 17, 1954, on NBC and CBS Radio, with Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris among the leads.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
