What happens

Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris and Don Wilson present a Jell-O episode of the Jack Benny program, broadcast on March 13, 1938 over NBC and CBS Radio. Jack and Phil argue over Phil's salary and Jack's savings, while Mary teases Jack about where he keeps his money. Kenny Baker grumbles about losing an Academy Award. The cast then performs a courtroom melodrama, Death in the Night Club, in which Jack plays a district attorney prosecuting a gangster accused of murdering a Wall Street broker at a nightclub. Jack and Mary are joined by Kenny Baker, who plays his assistant.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
