What happens

Jack Benny is vacationing in Palm Springs with his cast and musicians during the winter tourist season. Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Dennis Day and Rochester are among the group, and Jack plans an annual Christmas party at a rented house. Dennis Day talks about reading Hamlet and tries to annoy Jack. Jack is also set to meet Mr. Kitzel. The party gets noisy, and the house owner, Mr. Martin, comes over to complain about the disturbance. This episode is from the Jack Benny Program, which aired on December 19, 1954, on NBC and CBS Radio.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
