What happens
Jack Benny returns from a restful stay in Palm Springs and chats with Don Wilson about his trip, while Mary Livingstone recalls seeing him there. Jack plans to stay home for Thanksgiving with a large turkey, and Mary recites a holiday poem promoting Jell-O. Later, Phil Harris arrives late to the broadcast, and Jack confronts him about his romantic whereabouts. The program then moves into a Western sketch called Buck Benny Rides Again, in which Sheriff Buck Benny and his deputy investigate stolen cattle belonging to Frank Carson and his daughter Daisy. The episode is a 1936 Jack Benny broadcast for NBC and CBS Radio, starring Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
