What happens
Jack Benny hosts his Jell-O program from Hollywood, with Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris and Andy Devine among the guests and Kenny Baker singing. Benny boasts about his gardening and his hometown tribute, and a jokey feud forms between Benny and Phil Harris over Fred Allen and Abe Lyman. Mary Livingstone takes a call from her mother, and Andy Devine drops in with stories about his farm and his hired man. The program ends with a poll for a repeat broadcast and a banana Bavarian cream recipe. The show airs on NBC and CBS Radio on April 4, 1937.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
